5 books, 187 chapters
The text is the 1917 Jewish Publication Society translation, which is in the public domain. It is held on this site rather than fetched from anyone else, so it does not depend on another service staying up. Verse numbers follow the Hebrew, so a psalm with a superscription may run one higher than in a Christian Bible. The Greek additions to Esther, which sit outside the Hebrew Bible, are not included.
